When A Telemarketer Calls

Jill Jonston is alone babysiting in a dark house. The phone rings unexpectedly and she finds that she is being stalked by the most horrifying person imaginable.... a telemarketer intent on selling stuff. Can she avoid his wily & horrifying sales tactics long enough for the police to arive?

Well last year I heard wind of the remake for the horror flick "When A Stranger Calls". Rambo, much impressed with it suggested that we make a film reminiscnet of it just to see how well we could manage a horror film. Well that's when Jones declares that the only thing scarier than some shadowy guy in your house is a telemarketer. I quickly agreed, and so did Mr. G, who also believes them to be the spawn of satan. The origional idea was just a quick two-minute film in the style of a film trailer. The idea quickly grew from that spawned a short film. Although shooting is in limbo for the time being the trailer was completed & is in the process of editing. Expect the full film sometime next year.

When it was planned as a two-minute teaser trailer esq. film "When A Telemarketor Calls" was never scripted. Instead Mr. M took the liberty of storyboarding the whole thing from start to finish to get the best affect possible.

When the planned casting & location was unavalable the trio of M, G, & Rambo had to resort to M's amazing cinematography skills to make the most of it. The part in the trailer was intended for Felecia Bridges, a mutual friend, but due to psychotic parents(who I hope never see this), she was unavalable. We had to reshoot the whole scene at fixed angles so as it appears the character is female...
